Who are we?
SERVAL SIA is a company established in Latvia (reg. 40203159542, legal address: Madonas novads, Ērgļu pagasts, “Ošiņi”, LV-4840), engaged in the provision of logging and forestry services.
What customer personal data is collected and processed?
The Privacy Policy provides information on how SERVAL SIA processes, stores and protects customers’ personal data, thereby ensuring that customers’ personal data is processed lawfully and fairly. The policy applies to customers’ personal data, the processing of any natural person’s data and the services provided to customers.
When we receive information from clients sent using the “Contact” form, we process the following personal data of the client: name, surname, telephone number, e-mail, cadastral number, details of the message received and information included by the client in the attached documents.

In order to provide services to customers, SERVAL SIA may share customers’ personal data with partners or institutions involved in the provision of services ordered by customers.
SERVAL SIA is obliged to provide information about personal data to the following authorities and services:
– law enforcement authorities, court or other state and municipal authorities, if this is the result of regulatory enactments or a request for information by the relevant authority;
– SERVAL SIA will only provide personal data of customers to the extent necessary and sufficient in accordance with the requirements of laws and regulations and the objective circumstances of the particular situation.
What is the duration of storage of customers’ personal data?
SERVAL SIA stores and processes the personal data of customers until the customer has opted out of further contact.
What are customer rights?
Customers have the right to request and receive information about the processing of their personal data: what personal data SERVAL SIA holds, how personal data is processed, to whom personal data is transferred. They also have the right to request the rectification of inaccurate personal data, e.g. in case of a change of contact details (telephone number, e-mail); to request the erasure of personal data if both parties have fulfilled their obligations.
How do we protect customers’ personal data?
SERVAL Ltd. provides, continuously reviews and improves security measures to protect customers’ personal data from unauthorized access, accidental loss, disclosure or destruction. To ensure this, SERVAL SIA applies state-of-the-art technology, technical and organisational requirements, including the use of firewalls, intrusion detection, analysis software and data encryption.
SERVAL SIA carefully checks all service providers who process customers’ personal data on behalf of SERVAL SIA and assesses whether the cooperation partners (personal data processors) apply appropriate security measures to process customers’ personal data in accordance with SERVAL SIA’s delegation and regulatory requirements. Business partners are not permitted to process customers’ personal data for their own purposes.
We will endeavour to prevent any leakage, misuse or unauthorised disclosure of customers’ personal data.
